The heart of DAR and the John Alexander chapter is community service and friendship. 

Sure, we love our country and preserving the legacy of our ancestors. We love history and education, our military & veterans, and we build our service projects around these core pillars. 

There are many reasons to join the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). To qualify, you must be able to establish at least one lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence is the first step on your journey to DAR membership.
